About Study to Learn

Study resources should be clear, structured, and easy to trust

Study to Learn is an independent learning platform for International Baccalaureate and NSW Higher School Certificate students. It was created to replace the usual revision experience—scattered notes, blurry equation screenshots, and no obvious path through a syllabus—with something coherent.

Who is behind the platform?

Alexander Berry is the Founder of Study to Learn. Emmanuel Koutsouklakis is the Chief Technology Officer. Together, the team develops the curriculum structure, publishing workflow, interactive lesson experience, formula rendering, quizzes, flashcards, and account-based progress tools.

We do not publish invented credentials, anonymous success claims, or unverified student statistics. As the team grows, named contributors and reviewers will be credited on the resources they work on.

What makes Study to Learn different?

Every supported subject is broken into syllabus topics and complete lesson sequences. Formula and data references use KaTeX, the same kind of mathematical typesetting used in academic publishing, so equations remain sharp, searchable, and readable on phones. Public topic previews let students evaluate the explanations before creating a free account.

Covering both IB and NSW HSC also matters. Students comparing pathways or studying alongside friends in another curriculum can use one consistent set of tools instead of learning a new platform each time.

Accuracy and corrections

Lessons are mapped to published curriculum sources and carry review dates and edition labels. Curriculum and examination rules can change, so students should confirm high-stakes details with their school and the official awarding body. Our editorial policy explains how sources, corrections, and updates are handled.
